FinTech Financial Reporting & Consolidation Manager

Job Description:

The FinTech Financial Reporting & Consolidation Manager ensures the integrity and reliability of Mars Inc.'s management reporting accounts through policies, processes, and effective management of our current and future corporate reporting systems. This role requires building a strong network across our S&F community, including working closely with our FinTech team, MGSF/SFO, Controllership and FP&A at the Corporate and GBU levels to ensure the needs of all stakeholders will be met. Driving good quality data is crucial for the success of our digital tools to help drive better business decisions, especially in our ever-evolving business.

What are we looking for?

• 3-5 years hands-on experience with Financial Systems (ie: Essbase or Hyperion Planning, HFM, etc) or in Finance area with background / working knowledge of Financial Statements and Customer Care, with strong affinity for systems
• Must be proficient In Microsoft Office Suite (incl. Excel / PowerPoint)
• Experience with project/change management

• Working knowledge of ERP systems
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or equivalent education
• Min 5 years of proven experience in financial systems
• CPA/CMA/MBA preferred

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Responsible for supporting the consolidation systems and submission users, ensuring timely and quality corporate submissions.

  • Provide functional and technical E2E financial ecosystem support, including: (1) analyze and approve validation overrides, (2) assist users with top-side accounting entries related to unit changes, and (3) assist Corporate Acquisitions team with new unit Integration.

  • Identify training needs and deliver training sessions as needed, sharing best practices across mediums (e-learnings, live Q&A's, training classes, one-on-one sessions, and develop written guidance).

  • Perform system maintenance, including: dimensional/mapping updates and testing changes, as well as consolidation, revaluation, and restatement related updates.

  • Perform data quality checks, striving for quality assurance in the design and maintenance of our Corporate Consolidation system to ensure reporting requirements are being met.

  • Assist with user requests, including: standard and ad-hoc reporting, system access, and Master Data change requests.

  • Key business partner for ongoing business operations and change management with MGSF, Controllership, FP&A, Master Data and Digital Technologies teams.

  • Assist in various finance projects, including: (1) supporting the execution of the Mars "Finance of Tomorrow" vision to simplify and standardize its data structure and reporting capabilities and (2) partnering with the "One Source of Truth" CFIN ("SAP Central Finance") team and Mars Global Services Finance team to design and deliver solutions to enable our business units to Go Live on a fully automated submission process between CFIN and OneStream.
