Join the Electrolux Group's CX Care Technologies,Electrical Electronics Team and be a part of a team that values diversity andinclusion! We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Firmware Engineer whocan deliver the company's objectives and has a passion for hands-on interactionwith design work.

As part of an international team, the Firmware Engineerwill play a crucial role in providing expertise in firmware development fromconceptualization through production phases while adhering to safety, time,cost, and quality targets. What you'll do:

• The Firmware Engineer's main duties include but arenot limited to the following:
  • Completing all firmware project deliverables:
  • Performing Feasibility Assessments of Product Design Requirements.
  • DFMEA Creation and Execute Technical Design Reviews.
  • Design, validate (Component and System Level), and Optimize Firmware
  • Support the design and functional validation of Printed Circuit Assemblies

• Collaborate with the Design Group to implement robust UX solutions.
• Establish and maintain a usable and well-communicated schedule/documentation for all phases of a project.

Qualificationsrequired:

• BS/MS degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with real-time embedded electronics using 8, 16, or 32-bit microcontrollers.
• At least 3 years of experience writing software in C/C++ in an embedded environment.
• Experience in generating firmware specifications from product specifications and/or existing codebases.
• Proficient with Renesas, NXP, and/or ST controllers, and development environment/tools.
• Experience with advanced UI (User Interface), GUI (GRAPHIC USER INTERFACE), and/or power electronics development is preferred.
• Experience with testing/debugging firmware with an oscilloscope, debuggers, emulators, and logic analyzer.

This position will be based at our R&D Tech Centerin Charlotte, North Carolina.
