Firmware Engineer

NVIDIA is looking for an excellent and hard-working Firmware Design engineer to take part in developing the next generation powerful Switch products in the FW ethernet core group. What you'll be doing:

• Design and implement various Firmware features in the Ethernet switch, ensuring flawless performance.
• Debug and resolve complex issues while collaborating closely with our Software and Verification teams to deliver world-class solutions.
• Work frequently with Firmware and Hardware Architecture teams, influencing the future of our ASIC generations silicon.
• Working on various development environments, involving both pre-silicon work on emulations, and post silicon work on real platforms.

What we need to see:

• B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering.
• At least 2 years of proven experience in Firmware design, verification, and silicon validation.
• Proficiency in programming with C and assembly languages.
• Solid understanding of data structures and algorithms fundamentals.
• A wide system view with a strong knowledge of networking.
• The ability to work independently and as a self-learner, determined to excel in a dynamic environment.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Expertise in logic design and silicon production processes.
• A strong motivation to learn and continuously improve processes and tools.
• Knowledge of real-time software, RTOSs, and object-oriented programming.
• Familiarity with standard specifications and scripting abilities (Python, Bash) will be highly advantageous.
