Responsibilities
- Work with engineers to identify and resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design.
- Assist in the mechanical design and prototyping of components.
- Assemble and install fan samples to support development testing.
- Formulate test strategies and methods to improve test times and test performance.
- Perform data analysis from tests or automated data collection equipment and present accordingly.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program at an accredited university; degree focused in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Experience with mechanical design and 3D CAD modeling
- Comfortable with compiling test data and conducting basic statistical analysis
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Able to work at a high distance - 10ft+ above floor with 120V AC power
- Capable of lifting, and installing residential ceiling fans
