Responsibilities

• Work with engineers to identify and resolve manufacturing and quality problems related to methods, processes, tooling, equipment and product design.
• Assist in the mechanical design and prototyping of components.
• Assemble and install fan samples to support development testing.
• Formulate test strategies and methods to improve test times and test performance.
• Perform data analysis from tests or automated data collection equipment and present accordingly.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's program at an accredited university; degree focused in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
• Experience with mechanical design and 3D CAD modeling
• Comfortable with compiling test data and conducting basic statistical analysis
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Able to work at a high distance - 10ft+ above floor with 120V AC power
• Capable of lifting, and installing residential ceiling fans
