What We Need:
The Firmware Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating work between multiple firmware and software teams using the tools and disciplines of agile project management. This role facilitates project execution including scope definition, coordinating the activities of various functional areas, and project reporting. The Firmware Project Coordinator will establish clear process expectations for all team members and provide timely and effective communication to team members and stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Coordinate and align the efforts of multiple firmware and software teams to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery of new product development projects
- Collaborate with product owners and cross-functional stakeholders to clarify requirements, prioritize product backlogs, and triage defects
- Facilitate regular communication and collaboration among firmware and software teams, ensuring a cohesive understanding of project objectives
- Coordinate dependencies between firmware, software, and quality teams
- Train developers on the project management software and its functionalities to accurately track and update work progress
- Lead continuous improvement activities to improve development efficiency and effectiveness
- Collaborate and influence across product development, quality, and marketing teams
- Facilitate daily scrum meetings, sprint reviews, planning, and retrospectives
- Assist technical leads in translating market requirements into features with acceptance criteria in the firmware product backlog
- Own, develop, and maintain process templates within Azure DevOps
- Communicate technical progress to the business team
What You'll Need To Be Successful:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience, preferably in new product development
- Experience with agile / scrum development process
