Job Scope: • Installation of foundations, ventilation, bulkheads and shipboard furniture • Sheet metal fabrication shop work • Comprehend complex ventilation, assembly drawings, blueprints & sketches to include weld symbols, material, types, datum and reference lines • Layoff piece parts for fabrication and assembly • Assemble piece parts in accordance with specifications in a quality manner • Use small hand tools electric drills grinders rivet guns and shop equipment drill press press break Shears etcRequirements: • 3+ years of experience as a First Class Sheet Metal Worker • Ability to read complex ventilation drawings, blueprints, and sketches (including weld - symbols and material types) • Proficient with fractional and decimal dimensions • Skilled in fabricating and assembling parts according to specifications • Experience in physically demanding environments • Knowledge of OSHA regulations for shipbuilding • Experience using hand tools, electric drills, grinders, rivet guns, and shop equipment (drill press, press brake, shears, etc.)Company Details: Tradesmen International not only offers consistent work, top pay, and employment opportunities, we also provide a benefits package that is among the best in the industry.
