The Team:
The OEMS Implementation team is part of the Product Support orginzation and is spread across two verticals - Trade Compliance and FIX Operations. The FIX Operations team is a critical client/broker facing team responsible for the setup of a variety of new and existing FIX connections while providing frontline support for client connectivity issues.
The Role:
The FIX Operations position is responsible for the setup of FIX connections for new and existing clients such as Dropcopy Connections, Certification of Broker, Algo Connections, Algo Migrations and Broker Connection Decommissions requests. This position will also provide support for existing clients on issues related to these connections.
What You’ll Do:
- Create and perform training demos for both internal and external parties for OEMS topics and inquiries
- Communicate with client counterparties and serve as an escalation point as needed
- Work on projects related to FIX setup for client onboarding
- Candidates should have hands-on experience with the FIX projects, certifications & migrations
- Accurately and timely reporting of project status.
- Provide Day-to-Day support on OEMS broker connections like HT, DMA/Algo, Drop copy & Staging
- Provide second line support service to the production support team in FIX connectivity context
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- Must have worked in Financial Services and Investment Technology: Buy-side (OMS, EMS, IMS) or Sell-side product design, development, deployment.
- 1-3 years of Experience with FIX Protocol is a MUST to manage the FIX client onboarding process, liaise with global business and technology teams.
- In-depth knowledge of FIX Protocol and experience with client-facing and production support activities
- Experience in reading and configuring xml files which include algo definition language.
- Knowledge of asset classes such as Equities and Listed Derivatives
- Strong knowledge of trade life cycle of various instruments and products
- Strong client services skills demonstrated by excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, prioritizing urgent matters and working independently
- Must be flexible to work in all three shifts – APAC, EMEA, US
