Job Description

Creative Plastics (CP) is seeking a Fixturing Specialist to design and construct fixtures for production equipment, and assembly lines. Production equipment includes; CNC routers, overarm routers, table routers, table saws, miter saws, wire heaters, and rod heaters. This position will be responsible for creating fixtures for production. A qualified candidate should be able to design a fixture based upon engineered part drawings, and understanding of machinery capabilities.

• Ability to read a tape measure
• Ability to read calipers
• Ability to read GD&T drawings / blue prints
• Initiative & integrity are a must
• Critical thinking skills
• Builds project accurately and within time and budget specifications.
• Uses saws, power tools, sanders, hand tools, wood glue, screws, dowels, screws, and other tools and fasteners as needed.
• Cuts, shapes, and prepares wood and acrylics to complete projects.
• Ability to appropriately measure and skillfully build.
• Very good math and spatial skills.
• Extremely accurate, detail and safety-oriented.
• Woodworking / Cabinet experience is a plus

• CAD skills would be a plus
