Job Description
Agility is seeking a high-performing Fleet Manager to join our Logistics and Asset Management Team .
Reporting directly to the Director of Logistics & Asset Management , the Fleet Manager will provide fleet operations and management support through administration and reporting, and project management to Agility's stakeholders. Contributions will include analysis, development, implementation, and documentation of fleet initiative, KPI, and business processes. As a member of the Recovery Services Team, the Fleet Manager will provide transportation / logistic s coordination , 3rd party Driver Carriers, F leet Maintenance, DOT Safety Compliance with FMCSA, and continuous evaluation of our fleet.
In this role, you will:
- Control logistics activities in all the assigned Agility facilit ies , including operational elements such as fleet maintenance and ensuring asset readiness for customer declarations.
- Responsible for Annual vehicle renewals, quarterly IFTA, UCR, HVUT, and updating the FMCSA with any changes to our company fleet
- Responsible for the upkeep and preventative maintenance logs entry
- Preventative Maintenance and timely maintenance repairs of all fleet assets
- Oversight and experience sourcing Third-Party Drivers
- Purchase/Sell vehicles to enhance the fleet
- Managing all components of vehicle licensure , fuel cards, and registrations
- Ensure all Internal/External Drivers adhere to proper driving practices
- Provide reports to S enior L eadership T eam on budgeting, Maintenance, and fleet progress
- Active contributing member of the logistics team m anage ment of a contracted pool of third-party resources including mobile equipment, fuel vendors, temporary labor agencies, data wiring subcontractors, transportation/ logistics companies, and generator providers and ensure that all required resources are strategically and optimally engaged for customer testing and recovery support.
- Plan and coordinate resource needs for the recovery services delivery team supporting customer testing and recovery support activities to ensure customer and Agility success.
- Activities include directed efforts to customer locations and reverse logistics required to reposition equipment.
- Provide adequate coverage for all service delivery requirements. On-call support during Storm season provides proper coverage of all service delivery requirements.
- Deploy comprehensive site maintenance/repairs on all Agility Recovery assets (includes company mobile fleet)
- Administers the enforcement, review, and compliance of hours of service with 3 rd party drivers by DOT regulation
Functions:
- Coordinate movement of vehicles during emergency declares and mobile test
- Cost control through ensuring managem ent of expenditures are within budget ed guidelines
- Be responsiveness to changing priorities, with the ability to refocus and pivot to meet the challenge at hand
- On-call rotation responsibilities. You may also be called upon to assist customers during off-hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Monitor driver logs with GeoTab and submits monthly mileage for IFTA Reporting
- Systems experience (TMS, JJ Keller Encompass, GeoTab )
Qualifications:
- 3 years specialized fleet management experience
- 5 + years of related operational or logistics experience
- Great written and verbal communications skills
- Bachelor's Degree in related field preferred
- Excellent leadership skills, including goal setting , motivation, and training
- P roblem-solving skills with demonstrated success in effectively driving results
- Keen attention to detail
- Experience with Driver qualification files
- Exceptional organizations, time management, and multitasking abilities
- Travel 25% based on business need
- Class "A" CDL is preferred

Compensation
$75,000 - 80,000
