Flexible Manufacturing Worker - Machinist

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for experienced Flexible Manufacturing Worker - Machinist to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Operations Support in Huddersfield, United Kingdom .

This is a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract, working 35 hours per week Monday - Friday across 2 shift patterns.

• Days - 7:30am - 3pm Monday-Friday
• Nights - Monday - Thursday - 10:15pm - 7:30am

• Operates machines and production equipment in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment with limited guidance.
• Operates manual and automated equipment to manufacture and assemble products to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.
• Demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills.
• Achieves production goals.
• Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.
• Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.

• Engineering apprenticeship or 5 years' experience CNC machining in an engineering environment.
• Manufacturing Knowledge (preferred).
• Ability to set and program (beneficial).
• CNC Turning/Milling Experience (essential).
• CAD/ CAM programming (beneficial).
• Attention to detail.
• Minimal supervision.
• Be able to support shift working.

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. College or equivalent degree preferred.
• Requires some work experience and intermediate level knowledge obtained through training or on-the-job experience in customer order management, account management or in the supply chain field.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
