FLEXIM Product Manager

AS A NORTH AMERICAN PRODUCT MANAGER FOR NON-INTRUSIVE ULTRASONIC METERS YOU WILL:
- Assist in transactional market pricing, ensuring the North America Delegation of Authority is updated and appropriate.
- Review and approve discount requests.
- Provide input to the Demand Plan and inputs for overall sales planning.
- Assist in the launch of new products in local markets and ensure sales channel readiness to sell products.
- Develop knowledge and expertise with the global sales channel, customer care, and operations for assigned product and technology.
- Participate in the development of sales incentive programs that drive focus for assigned products.
- Help to identify training needs, tools, and other resources required to achieve product line growth.
- Communicate key application and customer success stories/proven results within World Area for sales, global product management and integrated marketing.
- Train new field sales and inside sales on technical product attributes, applications, local product strategies, portfolio tiers, pricing, and local competition.
- Partner with product management team for other flow technologies and helps to develop and deliver training and collateral related to technology selection.
- Work closely with sales management to host customer visits at local factories, sales offices, or customer sites.
- Provide feedback to the business unit concerning sales/service/product strategies as well as identifying gaps and needs of the world area back into the organization.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of assigned products, markets and served applications and defines market requirements for current and future products with market research and ongoing customer visits.
- Understand and apply customer segmentation techniques to product line strategies for growth.
- Develop and maintain industry knowledge applicable to assigned products/product line.
- Develop knowledge of product line financial targets of revenue, unit growth, profitability, and market participation.
- Develop technical familiarity with competitive products and business strategies to combat the competition.
- Assist in developing and implementing a company wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to complete.

Required education, experience, & skills:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 4+ years of related post-graduate work experience
- Able to travel at least 25% of the time
- Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position.
Preferred education, experience, & skills:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field preferred
- MBA preferred
- Experience or exposure to marketing practices and techniques
COLORADO PAY TRANSPARENCY REQUIREMENT:
Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the salary/pay range for this role is $100,100 to $116,000 annually, commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role. Additional goal-based variable pay applies.
