Job Description:
The job of an IERUS Flight Test & Integration Engineering Lead is to perform engineering design & analysis to support missile development test planning, integration, and flight test execution activities and their associated milestone reviews.
In this role, you will:
- Support the program through reviews and critical milestones to include PDR, CDR, TRR, MRR, and others.
- Apply IERUS’s technical processes, resources, and methodologies to ensure technical and programmatic reviews for the program are successfully executed.
- Liaison between MDA and other government reps to identify existing flight test opportunities per the MDA’s Integrated Master Test Plan.
- Responsible for working with the design teams and systems engineering to provide integration requirements, test plans/procedures, and verification criteria.
- Generate test procedures, coordinate range safety approvals, and develop work packages related to test asset assembly and integration.
- Perform system analysis and interface definition and management/ execution.
- Perform systems/hardware integration, test planning, and execution.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years with missile flight test experience.
- B.S. in Engineering, Physics, or related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance, therefore, U. S. Citizenship is required
- Experience with engineering trade studies and/or relevant sub-system modeling
- Experience working across functions and different levels of leadership to accomplish tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to support coordination and cross-team collaboration
Desired Qualifications:
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Familiar with component & system level test planning and execution (and an understanding of all the interdependencies)
- Prior Navy test, Navy integration, or MDA test experience
Location: Huntsville, AL (50% travel to Chandler, AZ may be required with this position)
