Join Our Dynamic Team as a Floating Assistant Maintenance Manager!
What you will be doing:
We are seeking a Floating Assistant Maintenance Manager with a "Whatever It Takes" approach to join our team! In this full-time role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the physical aspects of these 2 communities meet both company standards and applicable laws. As the Floating Assistant Maintenance Manager, you will help to:
- Manage, develop, and mentor the team in diagnosing problems and making repairs at multiple sites.
- Provide expert knowledge and troubleshooting in areas such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, dry walling, exterior structure, and appliance repair across multiple sites.
- Be Accountable for establishing and preparing a 24 hour on-call schedule for your team, and you must personally be available, always, in the event of snow, ice or other on-site emergencies for multiple sites.
- Manage and organize inventory of all maintenance materials across multiple sites.
- Establish an on-call schedule, preventive maintenance schedule, make ready schedule and general work order schedule for multiple sites.
- Regularly inspect community buildings, including vacant units across multiple sites.
- Complete tasks as assigned by the Service Manager.

What we’ll expect from you:
- Active and valid driver’s license and a personal vehicle.
- Live within a 30-minute commute of the properties.
- HVAC/EPA/CFC Certification preferred.
- One-year certificate, 2-4 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen.

- Pay Range: $22.00 - $27.00/ hr.

If you are hired at Morgan Properties, your overall compensation package will also be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
