Stantec's Seattle and Bellevue, WA offices are looking for a Mid to Senior-Level Geomorphologist to provide support for clients in the federal, state and municipal government, transportation, energy, and non-profit/NGO's for ecosystem restoration and mitigation projects in the Pacific Northwest Region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead/assist with technical studies, geomorphic assessments, and restoration designs.
  • Help develop mitigation sites and ecological restoration projects.
  • Perform research, conduct environmental analyses (field and desktop), develop recommendations, and assist in the preparation of technical reports.
  • Coordinate with clients, regulatory/resource agencies, and local governments.
  • Account management, client management, and business development.

Your capabilities and Credentials
  • Bachelor's degree in geology with emphasis in Fluvial Geomorphology.
  • Five to ten years of professional consulting experience.
  • Project experience should include fish passage barrier removal and other nature-based solutions (NbS).
  • Experience providing professional services to a variety of sectors, with experience on a wide variety of engineering and environmental projects including water resources, ecosystem restoration, geomorphic assessments, and permitting.
  • Strong technical writing and speaking skills.
  • Strong work ethic, sense of humor, and desire for team success.
  • Master's degree and Professional Geologist License preferred
