About This Role:

The Human Resources Specialist will provide a person-centered approach to assisting clients and employees through the application process. The HR specialist will be responsible for processing new hire paperwork, submitting background studies and verifying all proper documentation has been received.

**This position has the flexibility to be 100% remote.**

About You:

  • Two-year degree or 1 year of experience in a human resources or payroll field. Exposure to home health or human services is a plus
  • Have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record and reliable transportation to use for work driving purposes. 
  • Effectively prioritize projects and manage own time with limited oversight
  • Have effective communication skills, and the demonstrated ability to communicate challenging concepts both in-person, over the phone, and in electronic communication

Essential Functions:

  • Serve as a point of contact for incoming phone calls and emails
  • Run background studies for FMS employees and vendors
  • Create employee applications
  • Update and maintain employee files
  • Compile New Hire Welcome Packets
  • Run employee reports for file maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned by manager
