In addition to premium advertising solutions and consumer-facing events, the company has a robust influencer marketing business with a vast creator network that GMG employs for work on behalf of their Fortune 500 clients.

The company was founded in 2010 by CEO, Ryan Harwood, and is now part of VaynerX, the Gary Vaynerchuk-owned holding company.

We are looking for somebody to come on board full-time for a three-month, fixed term residency working on social strategy, management and insights for our food brands, @recipes and @cocktails. With a big focus on Instagram and TikTok, you’ll work closely with the Social Strategy Director and Brand Leads on daily ideation, posting, community management, social listening and reporting. The ideal candidate will be a social media native and analytical thinker who is looking to kick-start a career in digital media. We are looking for somebody who has a strong understanding of what works on TikTok and Instagram, an interest in mining social analytics to inform content ideas and strategy, and strong copywriting skills. You will be working remotely, with a view to potentially join the team in our Hudson Yards office when the climate allows.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

• Daily community management 
• Programming and posting content 
• Optimizing caption copy and hashtags
• Discovering and sharing real time trending opportunities
• Strategy optimizations, insights mining and social listening 
• Strategizing image posts, IGS and YouTube thumbnails 
• Curating re-posts + permissions
• Ad hoc content creation as needed

Salary: $17.00 per hour
