Forecasting Analyst

This role supports the US Specialty Forecasting team within U.S. Pharma Commercial Insights to establish and maintain accurate and insight driven gross sales and patient forecasts. This role requires strong analytical and methodological skills,(statistics experience preferred but not required).

These responsibilities include supporting the US Specialty Forecasting Team with the following:

• Establishing, documenting, and maintaining USP Forecast/ Latest Estimate, Long-Range Forecast, as well as Consensus forecast and Commercial forecast
• Maintain SKU level forecasts for all Specialty brands across portfolio and support new SKUS/Brands coming to market.
• Support the Core Commercial Cycle (CCC) through the monthly LE process and CERPS loads
• Ensure accuracy of forecasts through industry standard accuracy and bias metrics; identify corrective actions as appropriate
• Support US financial submissions and quarterly earnings call, as needed

This role will also provide you opportunity to:

• Collaborate with other staff within the Forecasting & Marketing Mix Analytics function to support forecast modeling scenarios and assumptions
• Collaborate with various stakeholders across the enterprise, including Marketing, Sales, Payer, Digital, Finance, and Technology teams in support of forecast submissions, senior management requests and to enhance forecast tools and capabilities
• Increase your business acumen in Specialty including competitive landscape and growth drivers associated with introduction of new mechanisms and use of Biologics including IQVIA APLD, Custom Files with Predictive modeling, Data monitor and Commercial Epi.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BS/BA in Statistics, Economics or Business as appropriate
• Analytics experience in pharma, biotech or alike
• Demonstrated analytical skills of data-driven models with previous expertise
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
• Proven communication and collaboration skills
• Demonstrated learning agility to build business acumen and leadership capabilities required to be successful in the role
• Ability to work effectively across a matrix environment
