Key Responsibilities • Conduct forensic reviews of financial records related to insurance claims, fraud, or bankruptcy filings. • Analyze and interpret complex financial data to identify irregularities or potential misconduct. • Prepare detailed reports and summaries for internal stakeholders and external legal or regulatory bodies. • Collaborate with legal, compliance, and finance teams to support investigations and litigation. • Maintain organized digital and physical claim files for audit and legal review • Support reconciliation and distribution waterfall calculations in insolvency cases. • Respond to inquiries from creditors, clients, and internal teams regarding claim status and documentation. Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field • 3+ years of experience in forensic accounting, accounts payable claims analysis, or bankruptcy support. • Familiarity with U.S. bankruptcy codes and claims classifications is a plus. • Strong understanding of financial documentation, tax notices (IRS, FTB, etc.), and legal procedures • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas), Word, and Outlook. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • High attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information.
