About Sprinter Health:

At Sprinter Health our mission is reimagining how people access care by bringing it directly to their homes. Nearly 30% of patients in the U.S. skip preventive or chronic care simply because they can’t get to a doctor’s office. For many the ER becomes their first touchpoint with the healthcare system—driving over $300B in avoidable costs every year.

By using the same technologies that power leading marketplace and last-mile platforms we deliver care where people are—especially those who need it most. So far we’ve supported more than 2 million patients across 22 states completed 180000+ in-home visits and maintained a 92 NPS.

Our team of clinicians technologists and operators has raised over $125M from investors including a16z General Catalyst GV and Accel and we have multi-year runway.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to sit at the intersection of engineering partners and product. You’ll work directly with strategic partners operators and internal product teams to deliver high-impact solutions quickly while ensuring that bespoke work feeds back into scalable reusable platform capabilities. This is not a support or solutions-only role: you’ll write real production code influence core architecture and help shape the Partner Engineering roadmap.

This role requires someone who came up through a mid–senior SWE track and is comfortable operating in ambiguity translating messy real-world constraints into durable software.

  • Collaborate closely with product ops data and clinical teams to launch real-world solutions

  • Feed partner learnings back into product strategy and platform architecture

  • Act as a technical owner for complex integrations from discovery through rollout

What have you done:

  • 5+ years as a backend or full-stack software engineer shipping production systems

  • Led projects from architecture and design through implementation and launch

  • Built or integrated with external APIs data pipelines or partner systems

  • Worked in fast-moving startup environments where ambiguity speed and ownership were required
