Few Important Things To Know

• We're mission-driven and focused on ways to bring the cost for the user to as low as possible, ideally free.
• We're investigating ways this platform can be used to reduce food waste at a societal level.
• We have added two incredible academic advisors: one who is a professor at Harvard University and is now leading our efforts in building out the nutritional knowledge base we intend to use.
• We have an incredible head of design with over 10 years of experience at world-leading companies including Apple and Uber.
• We are fully backed and funded by Menlo Ventures.

What we're looking for

• Deep consumer experience, having built B2C mobile apps that scaled.
• Deep knowledge of Swift, with experience in SwiftUI.
• Ready to build quick prototypes to test new concepts.
• 0 to 1 engineer who loves the speed and independence that comes with small agile teams.
• Passion for sweating the details, crafting micro-interactions, and animations to create delightful user experiences with a high craft bar.
• Thought deeply about AI and AI-first experiences, ideally hacked around with LLMs.

Your Responsibilities

• Full ownership over engineering from A to Z.
• Close collaboration with our designer and ML engineer.
• Collaborate with nutrition science advisors to integrate the latest research into the app.
• Build the product to support scale over time.
