This is a great opportunity for experienced teachers to build something amazing in a small school setting. California teaching credentials strongly preferred. What You'll Do • Teach 4 periods of ELA/humanities area to approx. 27-32 student per class • Curriculum used is called Fishtank • Teach the knowledge and skills, nurture the confidence and character, and inspire the passion needed for our students to achieve their goals, live their best lives, and positively impact the world • Value and draw upon students’ experiences and backgrounds • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies based on the diverse needs of all the students that engage all students • Develop and administer a variety of assessments to measure students’ growth towards goals and to monitor students mastery of the content standards • Analyze informal and formal student assessment results and use this information to drive and inform instruction Job Type: Full-time Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Paid time off • Referral program • Relocation assistance • Vision insurance License/Certification: • Teaching Credential or are permit eligible (Preferred) Work Location: In person
