Founding Software Engineer, Stork

This role is at our “labs” project Stork (stork.network). Dexterity is incubating Stork in-house, and our goal is to spin it out into an independently operated company in 2022. A successful candidate will have a strong bias for shipping projects across multiple stacks. This is truly a “ground floor” opportunity on a high-impact initiative with the safety and backing of a world-class trading firm.

Note that crypto or web3 experience isn’t required, but may be helpful. Ability to pick up new concepts quickly will suffice.
You also won’t need a background in trading or finance. You’ll learn all of that on the job. We’re looking for people who like to collaborate, tackle challenging problems, and have an inclination towards quantitative thinking.
What you'll be doing

• Building full-stack blockchain applications on StarkNet (front-end, backend, contract code)
• Be an integral part of the success of Stork, the first DeFi oracle on the StarkNet ecosystem

About you

• Experience with common languages used in the web application development, and Web3 and DeFi in particular (Python, Go, Rust,Javascript, Web3.js, ether.js)
• Track record of delivering full-stack applications quickly
• Thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Looking to tackle hard problems

Great to have

• Experience at a startup or a company in a growth phase
• Examples of shipped “full-stack” applications
• Github or other reference of past work
• Experience with AWS
