Plum is an employee insurance and health benefits platform focused on making health insurance simple, accessible and inclusive for modern organizations.
Healthcare in India is seeing a phenomenal shift with inflation in healthcare costs 3x that of general inflation. A majority of Indians are unable to afford health insurance on their own; and so as many as 600mn Indians will likely have to depend on employer-sponsored insurance.
Plum is on a mission to insure 10mn lives by 2025. Backed by leading global investors including Tiger Global, and Sequoia Capital, we help companies care better for their employees by providing.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Helping build ground up a new business vertical at Plum. Think of a start-up within a start-up.
- Building and managing a pipeline of prospective clients through internal and external sources. Run concurrent campaigns to source such leads.
- Designing liability and asset insurance offerings for Plum's customers through market research and competitive benchmarking.
- Drive negotiations with insurance partners on creating comprehensive programs at the most competitive commercials for Plum’s customers.
- Presenting Plum’s products to clients in pitch meetings.
- Maintaining high levels of engagement with the client throughout the sales cycle.
- Owning the end-to-end sales cycle for identified clients.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Has 1-4 years of Sales experience in an insurance company / insurance broking or worked in the finance domain.
- Has past experience in selling & managing liability and asset insurance.
- Has stellar written & verbal communication skills.
- Has the ability to operate in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
- Proven track record of consistency in achieving targets.
