We are currently seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This role will partner with our internal teams to manage and drive growth of the business. The Financial Analyst role will work closely with all levels of management and across multiple business units to analyze performance and present clear and executable solutions focused on profitable growth. The role requires strong financial modeling skills, a passion for problem solving, proficiency in Excel, eagerness to learn, excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple teams within the company's organization, and high comfort with exploratory business analysis to synthesize findings into clear, actionable presentations.
Responsibilities:

  • Consult with business leaders to define financial reporting/analysis needs, gather data, conduct research and analysis, prepare reports and present results to the executive/ management team.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process; collaborate with business leaders to build and monitor department budgets.
  • Prepare detailed forecasts for revenue and operating expenses and analyze financial, operational variances, and historical trends.
  • Analyze financial key metrics and provide monthly and quarterly variance explanations of performance projections against budget and forecasts.
  • Ad-hoc financial analysis and projects (including preparation of quarterly board meeting presentations and offsite presentations).


Skills and experience required:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent.

 

  • 2+ years of experience in a corporate finance, investment banking, or private equity analyst role.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills - building complex financial models, working efficiently with large data sets, and preparing presentations.
  • Sound business judgment and ability to synthesize, analyze, and extract implications from data.
  • Ability to problem-solve creatively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Detail oriented, able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to collect and analyze data, and prepare complex plans and forecasts.
  • Netsuite experience is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of data query/data management tools (e.g. SQL) a plus.


The anticipated base salary range for this position is $67,000 to $90,000
The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include, but are not limited to; the type and length of experience within the job, type and length of experience within the industry, the type and length of knowledge and skills for the position, education, training, etc. Prodege is a multi-state employer and final compensation within this range could be impacted by work location. Please note that the compensation details listed in US role postings reflect the base salary only, and do not include bonus, commission, equity, or benefits.
Prodege offers a comprehensive benefits package to US Full-time employees including medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD and basic life insurance. Employees may enroll in our company's 401k plan, which includes a company match. Employees receive flexible PTO, as well as paid sick leave prorated based on hire date. US Employees have eight paid holidays throughout the calendar year. Employees receive an option to purchase shares of Company stock commensurate with their position, which vests over four years.
