The role

An exciting opportunity to join our dynamic FP&A function within Class (ASX Listed) - Part of the HUB24 Group.

This role will support the FP&A team and other business leaders with ad hoc financial and business analysis, key strategic projects and report presentations. The role will participate in month end reporting activities, the annual budget plan and quarterly forecasting and other ad hoc forecasting requirements. 

We are seeking a Finance Analyst with exceptional communication skills, enabling you to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels within the organisation. In addition to this, a proven track record of building rapport and fostering strong relationships with senior leadership teams. This includes the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner, ensuring that the interests and concerns of various stakeholders are addressed with professionalism.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the produce the monthly management reporting for the business
• Drive continuous improvement within the monthly reporting processes and systems, helping establish best practice processes and standards
• Support the production of the yearly and half external reporting
• Issue cost centre reports including variance analysis to cost center managers
• Preparation and analysis of account and general ledger reconciliations
• Provide accurate and timely reporting on the financial activity of business improvement projects.
• Assist with the forecasting and budgeting process
• Collaborate with the FP&A Manager to create financial reports and presentations related to forecasting, budgeting, and strategic projects.
• Support finance to drive the HUB24 culture, consistently lead by example, set expectations and hold people accountable to behaving in line with our values.
• Continuously support build the capabilities and spirit of the team; leveraging both to achieve ambitious objectives.
• Regularly communicate with finance team to influence engagement and awareness of important priorities and key initiatives.

Key skills required:

• CA, CPA, or CIMA qualification (or working towards it), along with a tertiary qualification in Tax, Law, Commerce, Economics, Finance, or a related field
• 4 years accounting experience including 2 years working within an FP&A role
• Financial Services or Wealth Management experience is preferred but not essential
• Experience working within an ASX Listed business highly favourable
• Possess strong business partnering skills and be able to work closely with key stakeholders across all levels including business unit heads.
• Experience in month end reporting, financial analysis, budgeting & forecasting, producing annual reports and investor/results presentations.
• Possess strong Excel skills and financial modelling and data visualization capabilities.
• Commitment to high standards of client service with a balanced focus on the commercial priorities of the business.
• Personal drive and desire to strive to achieve optimal results whilst also possessing a continual improvement mindset.
• A flexible and agile approach that enables you to effectively respond in a fast-moving and changing environment.
