FP&A Analyst

Salary: ÂŁ45,000 - ÂŁ50,000
Join UniHomes as an FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) Analyst and play a pivotal role in shaping our financial future. In this brand-new role to the business, you will collaborate closely with our Finance Director to deliver accurate, insightful financial reporting that drives strategic decision-making. Your expertise will be instrumental in steering the financial direction of UniHomes, making a tangible impact on our growth and success.Â
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models to forecast future financial performance, assess the impact of various scenarios, and support strategic planning, budgeting, and decision-making.
- Prepare detailed monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and financial statements for management, stakeholders, and investors, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, opportunities, and potential risks. Provide insights to support strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
- Leverage data analysis tools to extract, analyse, and visualise financial data to identify insights and trends.
- Collaborate with the wider finance team to streamline reporting processes and improve financial data quality.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis as needed to support specific projects, initiatives, or management requests.
Skills and experience:
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) is preferred.
- Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, modelling, and data analysis tools, such as Excel, Power BI, Sage Intacct, SQL and Python.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Experience working in a collaborative team environment and adapting to changing priorities.
