How You'll Support Our Mission:
Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial reporting and planning functions at ESO. You will own the build and optimization of ESO’s monthly and quarterly financials, driving the quarterly forecast process, and playing a key part in assembling ESO's annual operating plan. Further, you will be a key stakeholder to ESO's cross functional teams, leading the department owners through your detailed variance analysis and identifying opportunities that enable their success. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional to continue growing their skills and experience at a high growth organization.
What You'll Be Doing - The Day to Day:
- Manage the build of the monthly and quarterly financial package by gathering data from different sources, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of delivery, as well as recognizing opportunities to streamline processes.
- Conduct detailed variance P&L analysis across all departments while also identifying miscoding to ensure accurate reporting.
- Collaborate with department owners by leading monthly meetings to review financials and align on the future outlook of headcount, and operating expenses at a vendor level.
- Analyze financial performance and provide insights on trends, key drivers, and
opportunities for improvement. - Maintain the company census, by partnering with the Talent Acquisition team to align on open roles and accurately track employee changes.
- Support the FP&A team with ad-hoc requests that typically require data gathering and analysis to help provide meaningful recommendations.
Who You Are - The Essentials:
- You have 1-3 years of relevant work experience in FP&A and/or Corporate Finance at fast-paced companies.
- You are a data nerd, with a strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- You approach your work with a bias for action and take initiative on issues or concerns you've identified.
- You have a curiosity and thirst for knowledge that drives you to ask questions, dig deeper, and find new ways to approach problems.
- You prioritize staying organized, keeping all your plates "spinning" when there are multiple deliverables on your to-do list.
- You value being an excellent business partner to both your team and stakeholders.
