What You'll Bring:
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information systems or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of working experience in a finance role
- Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent data analytics and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate well orally and written
We'd love to see:
- Experience with financial systems (e.g., OneStream)
- Proficient in PeopleSoft Financials and/or Workday
- Understanding of forecast cycles and underlying concepts
- Detailed oriented, organized, and ability to work in a deadline driven environment
- Collaborative and ability to work well in a team environment and individually
Impact You'll Make:
- In the first 90 days - Understand key company reporting roll ups and assist and prepare consolidated financial packages for close and forecast and other analyses
- Beyond 90 days
- Own select deliverables and analyze and prepare financial variance analysis at the consolidated level for executive management on a monthly/quarterly basis
- Assist with financial presentations
- Support and maintain forecast system administration and related automated reports
- Assist end users with forecast process or system issues
- Assist with ad hoc requests requested by executive management and cross functional teams
- The Corporate FP&A team has not increased in headcount even past the 10+ acquisitions at TransUnion which the team helps support in close, forecast, reporting, presentations and financial systems deliverables and processes.
- Further, we are transitioning to a next generation forecast tool which will involve more efforts needed by the team to support both the new system (potential additional build) and the users who need to on board.
- This position will be responsible for systems support (e.g., lead remaining historical data validation for OneStream, keep a cadence of data set copies and organize data versions, and check out data sets from plan adjustments, restatements, and chartfield changes), close and forecast data loading especially for Rise and M&A's, assisting with reporting needs from close and forecast, and updating and maintaining the Corporate FP&A Central Repository (Confluence) site.
- All in all, the position will take up some existing responsibilities so the more senior team members can address ad hoc and new reporting needs, help remediate and/or build out OneStream capabilities, and consider process / communication improvements from Corporate.
