As a part of the Transportation Solutions (TS) segment the, the Industrial and Commercial Transportation (ICT) business unit focuses on providing reliable connectivity products designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions for on- and off-highway vehicles and recreational transportation. With TE's 30+ years of experience in the ICT connectivity segment, we offer a broad portfolio of over 14K products which make us the world leaders in tough and rugged solutions.
The Operations Finance Analysist will report directly to the Plant Controller at our Tullahoma TN factory (90 minutes south of Nashville). This role will be a key contributor to the plant/business unit strategy by providing financial support and risk analysis.
Responsibilities:• Cultivate strong business partnerships with the Plant Controller and Site Leadership• Preparing financial analyses and developing business decision support for the site/business unit (manufacturing, procurement, and logistics)• Improving financial performance across operational areas, including material spend, labor, and overhead; Track and monitor local saving projects for the site/business unit• Maintaining and driving forecast and budget process at his/her level in coordination with manager• Financial support and analysis for the plant/business unit including capacity analysis, Automation projects, and other capital investments• Work with local BU supply chain team to identify and drive freight and inventory reductions• Assist with monthly plant/business unit review; Maintain standard monthly reporting on operations finance topics (variance, PPV, scrap, PFO, inventory, capital expenditures, etc.)• Analyze monthly actual results and assist in forecasting and budgeting• Perform productivity analysis• Participate in capital expenditure and inventory tracking and analysis• Ensure we maintain a strong culture of compliance specific to SOX and Policy (Physical Inventory, DOA Approvals (Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Fixed Assets Inventory, Scrap, etc)• Support ad hoc requests from management or business partners
What your background should look like:
- Bachelor's degree with at least 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing Costing, FP&A
- Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite programs. SAP experience is a plus.
- Be an effective business partner provides financial guidance to support business decision.
- Strong analytical skills to build up solid financial analysis module, strong business acumen to justify assumptions to support financial analysis
- Ability to reach across functional and regional boundaries to create a network of contacts to resolve issues
- Practical hands-on approach, and self-motivated
- Continuous improvement sprit always seeking for better solution rather than follow existing process
- Willing to take more responsibility, entrepreneur sprit
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills

COMPENSATION• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $77,400 - $116,200 (subject to change dependent on physical location)• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
