FP&A Analyst, Strategic Finance

We're looking for an FP&A analyst to bolster our growing Strategic Finance team. You will work closely with your peers within the FP&A team as well as the broader finance team. You'll be responsible for our forecast accuracy as well as providing actionable insights into the health of our business. This role will shape Amperity's financial foundation and will be instrumental to Amperity's long term success.

Reporting to Director of FP&A, you will support the FP&A function at Amperity, including maintaining 3 statement financial model and other driver-based models, driving budget vs. actuals analysis, partnering with department leads during planning or forecasting processes and for monthly variance reviews, supporting internal & external financial reporting, as well as scenario analysis, returns on investment, and other decision support .

• Work closely with the different departments at Amperity to monitor & communicate performance, coordinate company planning and empower leaders to make data-supported decisions
• Deliver monthly analysis and reporting of the business' financial results including variances to plan, and report to key stakeholders
• Work on the preparation of monthly reporting materials, Board of Directors materials, executive management presentations and reports, and project-based analyses
• Help build, develop and maintain financial systems to streamline processes and drive automation (examples include: Netsuite, Adaptive Planning, Snowflake, etc.)
• Support finance leadership with special projects and ad hoc analyses including M&A, integration and pricing

• 2+ years of experience in a quantitative discipline in a fast growing private company and/or a public company, ideally in the software industry. Management consulting or investment banking experience preferred.
• Highly inquisitive, with strong attention to detail
• Strong Excel modeling and Powerpoint presentation skills
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
• Positive attitude with a willingness to go above and beyond when needed
• Experience with FP&A tools and SQL a plus

Base Salary: $75,000 -$100,000. This range reflects the good-faith hiring base salary range for this position. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training.

Other Cash Incentives: For many of our positions, other cash incentives are also available.
