The Role

We're looking for an FP&A analyst to bolster our growing Strategic Finance team. You will work with your peers within the FP&A team and the broader finance team. You'll be responsible for our forecast accuracy and providing applicable insights into the health of our business. You will shape Amperity's financial foundation and will play an important part to Amperity's long term success.

Reporting to Director of FP&A, you will support the FP&A function at Amperity, including maintaining 3 statement financial model and other driver-based models, driving budget vs. actuals analysis, partnering with department leads during planning processes and for monthly variance reviews, supporting internal & external financial reporting, and scenario analysis, returns on investment, and other decision support.

Interesting Problems
  • Work with the different departments at Amperity to communicate performance, coordinate company planning and empower leaders to make data-supported decisions
  • Deliver monthly analysis of the business' financial results including variances
  • Work on the preparation of monthly reporting materials, Board of Directors materials, executive management presentations and reports, and project-based analyses
  • Help develop financial systems to improve processes and lead automation (examples include: Netsuite, Adaptive Planning, Snowflake)
  • Support finance leadership with special projects and ad hoc analyses including M&A, integration and pricing
About You
  • 2+ years of experience in a quantitative discipline in a fast-growing private company and a public company, in the software industry. Management consulting or investment banking experience preferred
  • Highly inquisitive and attentive
  • Excel (can perform complex functions) modeling and PowerPoint
  • Optimistic with a willingness to transcend when needed
  • Experience with FP&A tools
Compensation

Base Salary: $75,000 -$100,000. This range reflects the good-faith hiring base salary range for this position. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training.

Other Cash Incentives: For many of our positions, other cash incentives are also available.
