FP&A Analyst, Technology

The Opportunity

Homecare Homebase is searching for an FP&A Analyst-Technology to join our team. The Analyst will be responsible for working with the leadership team to translate business data into meaningful insights through analysis, dashboard, and report development. The successful Analyst candidate will step into a highly visible role - reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Finance - whose work will serve to help directly inform executive strategy.

The Challenge

As an FP&A Analyst-Technology, you will play an essential role in ensuring HCHB can empower that exceptional care by timely and accurately assessing our own strengths, weaknesses, threats, and opportunities and stay firmly positioned to continue to be a trusted business partner of our client agencies. Key responsibilities would include, but not be limited to:

• Data reconciliation, manipulation, and interpretation using various data sources available and utilizing internal data warehouse software.
• Report development to support data-driven business decisions
• Support the financial planning and analysis processes with metrics and data insights for financial risks and opportunities.
• Data gathering, documentation preparation and data analysis
• Monitor and maintain regularly assigned reports and tools
• Work cross-functionally as needed with various department representatives to fulfill leadership initiatives.
• Act as a key contributor in driving the company's quantitative insights and daily operations.
• Take initiative on developing new analyses and finding unique opportunities to leverage data in new ways.
• Must be a strong leader with the ability to navigate ambiguity and work in uncharted territory. Must have curiosity to learn a complex business area.

What We're Looking For

Homecare Homebase's mission is to empower exceptional care among all the clients we serve. The FP&A Analyst-Technology supports this mission by providing careful observation and keen insight into the status of strategic initiatives, informing financial plans, and monitoring progress against those plans. This position will also engage strategically with Technology Operations, Cloud/Platform Operations, and Development/Engineering as needed to drive progress toward HCHB's and its client agencies' goals.

We are looking for a talented, passionate individual who has at least 3 years of experience and can show us:

• The ability to interact effectively with multiple internal and external constituent groups
• Experience in data mining and data analysis.
• Experience in report development.
• Proficiency in MS applications - Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint (advanced knowledge of Excel strongly preferred).
• Proficiency in Workday Adaptive Planning and/or Apptio Cost transparency preferred
• Proficiency in Tableau, PowerBI, SQL, and/or SalesForce.com a plus
• Strong understanding of hosted solutions and cloud computing strongly preferred, with a demonstrated ability to speak fluently both to technology and finance resources
• Must be organized, time efficient, self-directed, and able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

Education requirements: this career opportunity requires a bachelor's degree in business or a related field or an equivalent combination of some college and significant work experience.
