We are seeking an innovative, data driven, results-oriented leader to help support forecasting and planning for our Finance organization.
This position will be responsible for assisting the Finance team with integration of acquisitions as ALC looks to scale the controls business. They will be responsible for tracking performance of the acquisitions in keeping with WHQ reporting requirements and will be reporting to the Sr Finance Manager. This role will work closely with a geographically dispersed NA field organization as well as accounting to understand the current structure and process and determines the best path forward to seamlessly assimilate new acquisitions.
The selected candidate must be comfortable communicating to all levels of the organization and able to develop positive relationships in order to gather information and influence decision making. This is a high visibility position with exposure to senior management by participating in business reviews.
Key Responsibilities
- This role will work closely with ALC field finance team and the field organization to achieve their financial goals
- Assist in preparation and loading of monthly forecast and annual plan in HFM
- Provide financial analysis of sales, margin, productivity and cash flow in a field-based business
- Prepare, distribute and continuously improve financial reporting
- Develop / improve upon existing tools to assist with business analysis and decision making
- Adhoc projects as required to assist HQ management staff with strategic priorities
- Responsible for financial forecasting and planning and consolidation
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports and presentations for management
- Fully developed professional able to work without direct guidance or daily direction from others
- Has in-depth financial knowledge and communication skills required of the discipline and role
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree Finance, Accounting or Business
- 3+ years' experience with monthly reporting metrics, data analysis & data manipulation
- 3+ years of experience consolidating and presenting large amounts of data in easy to understand format
- 2+ years of Advanced level skills with Microsoft Office especially Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in HFM & MS Dynamics or other project accounting system is preferred
- Proven capability to communicate professionally in written and verbal format
- Proven capability to work effectively with all levels of the organization
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interface with internal customers and a continuous improvement mindset is required
- HVAC / construction industry knowledge is a plus
