About the Job

As MarketAxess expands both domestically and internationally, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced FP&A Associate to join the team. As a key member of the FP&A team, the candidate will be responsible for expanding forecasting, reporting, and analytics across all areas of the organization.  The candidate will also be responsible for managing the delivery of various ad-hoc projects.  We are looking for a hardworking, driven individual to challenge existing processes, identify solutions, and own implementations with extra emphasis on automation.

What You’ll Do

• Support monthly management reporting for across several departments; opportunity to own relationships with senior business / department heads
• Aid in the ongoing creation / updating of management reporting as business needs evolve; including the design and development of dashboards to track new metrics as they are defined
• Establish and maintain scalable data quality framework and implement automated testing and controls
• Partner with various departments to gather business requirements for ongoing forecasting system enhancements
• Ad hoc analytics and modeling related to recent product performance, new product business cases, competitive landscape, etc.
• Assist with the development and refinement of forecasting models across various lines of business
• Communicate financial change drivers to wide range of senior stakeholders; ability to draw insights from large datasets adjust message based on audience
• Partner with systems team to define requirements and configure planning tools to meet evolving business requirements

What You Bring to the Table

• 3+ years’ experience in FP&A / consulting / investment banking
• Advanced knowledge of financial systems, system integrations, and data control frameworks
• Knowledge of Python and other modeling tools, or willingness to learn
• Experience creating automated, value-add reporting and associated presentation experience to senior-level executives
• Demonstrated ability to prioritize competing deliverables and flexibility to adapt under tight deadlines
• Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment
• Financial services, electronic trading and/or technology industry experience
• Preferred System Experience: Adaptive Planning, NetSuite, Domo, Salesforce

For job positions in NYC, NY, and other locations where required, the estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $80,000 USD to $120,000 USD. Actual salary may vary depending on job-related factors, which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. You may also be eligible for annual cash incentives, equity, and other benefit programs.
