Position Overview

The Platform Services and Emerging Technology Finance team is looking for a Finance Business Partner to support and enable Autodesk to meet its strategic and financial goals. In this individual contributor role, you will partner with three senior leaders on the PSET leadership team overseeing Autodesk's Data and Identity and Licensing Platforms. These platforms cover all data to delight our customers and enable workflows within and across the industries we serve. You will play the critical role of trusted financial advisor guiding and providing insight on investments, portfolio analysis and technology decision support.

The ideal candidate is an action oriented, pragmatic problem solver who addresses today's issues with an eye towards the long term. You must be comfortable working with large data sets, business intelligence tools and across multiple teams at all levels of management.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary business partner to PSET leaders overseeing Autodesk's Data and Identity and Licensing Platforms
  • Autodesk financial processes: Annual and Long-Range Planning, Forecast and Quarterly Close
  • Financially manage Autodesk company wide programs, ensuring alignment on investments and IP development across the FP&A community
  • Ensuring compliance with GAAP as defined by our Corporate Accounting team
  • Special projects such as platform consumption tools and analysis

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree in finance, accounting or economics, CPA and/or MBA a plus
  • 7+ years of related finance experience or business analysis background
  • Prior experience in a technology/software/SaaS company a plus
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Hands on experience with financial software (e.g. Anaplan, Qlikview, Looker, SAP, etc.)
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, inquisitive mind, data savvy and experience with financial models and analyses
  • Outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Great attention to details
  • Focused execution with ability to work in a fast pace environment
  • Growth mindset and ability to learn quickly

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $102,900 and $166,540. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
