Position Summary:
Trend Micro is seeking an Analyst to join the FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) team for a 1 year paid graduate internship. The successful candidate should have graduated from university no more than one year ago.
The position requires the successful candidate to develop skills in the areas of:
- Analysis and documentation
- Budgeting
- Communication
- Leveraging systems to automate processes
Responsibilities:
- Update the OPEX (expense) analysis for a variety of departments on a regular basis
- Summarize the OPEX results for the department head and highlight any areas of concern
- Assist department managers in the preparation of their Annual budget submissions
- Support a variety of tasks during month end (journal entries, accruals, expense reporting)
- Participate in the calculation of payments for certain programs
- Ensure payments are calculated correctly and processed on time
- Take over some of the duties of your colleagues when they are on scheduled leave
- Support special projects and ad hoc requests, as required
Qualifications:
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or Economics preferred
Experience Required:
- Detail-oriented with an interest in investigating and fixing problems
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to quickly summarize data findings and effectively communicate results
- Experience with Excel a plus
