Responsibilities

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to compile "historical data" with actual & forecast results for system delivery projects at varying levels of detail
• Prepare weekly and monthly financial reporting packages and presentations for senior and executive level business leaders
• Learn to identify areas where metrics/reports improvements can be utilized
• Learn to consolidate and analyze business segment financials including revenues, costs, and capital
• Learn to consolidate and analyze corporate support segment financials including headcount, costs, and capital
• Participates in the monthly close process ensuring accurate financial results and investigate variances and trends to provide further analysis and insights
• Participates in forecast and budget preparation, including but not limited to forecast input, presentations, commentaries and cost analyses
• Assist with continuous process improvement and complete other ad-hoc analysis, as needed

Qualifications

• Proficient in Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint
• Analytical, well organized, good communication skills, strong work ethic and strong desire to learn
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with large volumes of data
• Must be able to work 37.5 hours/week during the summer, with possibility of extension into the fall / spring semester at a minimum of 12 hours/week
• Currently enrolled in a Finance or Accounting degree program

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The compensation rate is $21/hr. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
