Job Description
This role is vital to Citi's growing strategy and efficiency optimization in Latin America by coordinating forward looking processes (CCAR, Plan, Outlook), generating and analyzing the required information for senior management reviews (QBRs, Flash, Weekly) in addition to AdHoc analysis on drivers of regional performance.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the development of project plans for the continuous Planning Process for the Latin America ICG Business including the Annual (CCAR/DFAST) submission, the spring (Mid-Cycle Stress Test) submission, the Annual Operating Budget Plan and the Mid-Year Forecast
- Coordinate regional monthly Outlook Process, preparing clear, concise and insightful materials to senior management
- Create financial reports and meet with finance team to clearly summarize financial trends and provide insight to senior management
- Advise on directional strategy and provide guidance on significant business/product decisions
- Prepare analytics in support of CEO Reviews, including business initiatives
- Execute analysis of product profitability and provide guidance on significant business and product decisions
- Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and senior management to influence behavior and decision making
- Prepare presentations and analysis for the team supporting the CFO
- Ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision
- Work with the businesses to help formulate strategies to optimize TCE, RWA and GAAP within predefined rules and regulations.
- Build and manage strong relationships with global, regional and country partners
- Defines, develops and controls expense models across the region aligned with Citi policy
- Analyzes expenses performances to assess and evaluate franchise performance and possible strategic actions to improve overall efficiency.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or closely related field
- Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills
- 6-10 years of relevant experience
- Ability to interpret and draw conclusions form large amounts of data
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated presentation skills
- Expertise on Citi FP&A platforms strongly preferred i.e. Ruby, FRM, Pearl
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Fluency in Spanish preferred, but not mandatory
Education:
- BA/BS in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or closely related field
- Master's degree preferred
Skills/Competencies:
- 4+ year experience in Financial Planning & Analysis or related field
- Ability to build models to forecast P&L and Balance Sheet with numerous inputs
- Superior Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Ability to interpret and draw conclusions form large amounts of data
- Organizational and time management skills
- Strong communications skills
- Expertise on Citi FP&A platforms strongly preferred i.e. FRM, Pearl, RPM
