Job Description

Agfa Radiology Solutions is seeking an experienced FP&A Lead North America. In this role you will work closely with (and be part of) the North America Leadership Team Radiology Solutions and you will have full P&L responsibility for the region.

As a confident business partner, you are comfortable challenging the leadership team and equally happy to get involved in supporting them to achieve objectives. To this end you will need to understand the complexity of the business to promote an understanding of the key drivers influencing business KPI's. You will have main responsibility for optimizing Net Working Capital, effective use of resources and ensure that corporate governance is adhered to.

Leading a small team, you will act as a mentor, setting priorities and development targets and reviewing outputs. At the same time, you will need to take a hands-on approach yourself getting involved in key tasks.

Being the key link into the Global Finance Organization you will provide monthly business updates, commenting on local business issues - financial as well as non-financial, highlighting risks and opportunities.

You will also work closely together with the Global Financial Services Organization (transactional finance) who is responsible for all the accounting related processes.

This position will be based in Greenville, North Carolina.

Responsibilities, but not limited to the following:

  • Leading the monthly turnover forecast process. Also longer term forecasting (5 year plans)
  • Highlighting variances to budget (revenue and costs)
  • Regular contact with operational stakeholders in order to challenge performance and support improvement initiatives
  • Providing relevant and insightful management reporting appropriate for various levels in the business
  • Leading the quarterly forecast and annual budget preparation process
  • Preparing monthly reporting packs
  • Insuring the right transparency in the order intake and order book.
  • Supporting major customer bids (customer finance)

As a senior member of the management team, you will need to adopt a very hands-on operational approach to the business and get involved in day-to-day business issues that transgress the traditional finance function boundaries.

Education:

  • Master Degree in Business or closely related field preferred
  • BA / BS Degree in Business or closely related field
  • CAP license preferred

Experience:

  • Experience in supporting a (healthcare) commercial and service environment is a plus
  • You have a master in finance with an ability to act commercially and have a system driven mindset
  • Knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and project accounting
  • Demonstrable expertise in working closely with business stakeholders and will have a natural communication style ideal for networking in business.
  • A driven and ambitious individual who enjoys succeeding, with strong academic achievements and a stable career history to match.
  • A significant degree of effort will be associated with the preparation of management information from source data, demanding an appropriate level of IT skills.
