Job Description
Full-time
Description
Engrain has transformed the way people find, lease, and manage properties. Engrain provides a holistic suite of mapping solutions built specifically for the real estate industry to provide stunning unit-level map visualizations that integrate with countless websites and property tech applications. Our revolutionary, unit-level map data and interactive visuals within our SightMap, TouchTour, and Asset Intelligence product lines allow both property owners and prospective renters to better ensure occupancy and drive revenue.
As our FP&A Manager, you will have the opportunity to be a part of Engrain's growth and dynamic environment. You will elevate strategic decision making by improving visibility into business performance and providing data-driven insights that shape Engrain's long-term trajectory. This role will own financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting for the company and will serve as a strategic business partner to Sales, Marketing, and other Go-to-Market functions, in addition to executive leadership. We are looking for someone with experience as a strategic thought leader and highly effective finance business partner. You should be passionate about building and scaling functions from the ground up. You'll bring past experience in identifying complex business problems and developing data-driven action plans to address them.
What you'll do...
- Own key strategic financial processes for the business, including financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to key stakeholders. This includes managing monthly, quarterly and annual planning cycles
- Partner with the Go-to-Market (GTM) functions, particularly Sales, Marketing, and our Partnerships teams, in strategic decision making, including developing business cases, industry benchmarking, and other data-driven analyses
- Own financial and business models that drive executive and board level decision making, with a focus on capital management and long-term financial planning
- Develop metrics to track team-specific and company-wide trends, identify opportunities, provide recommendations, and collaborate across all levels
- Improve operational rigor, quality of insights and data accuracy across the finance function
- Identify and implement improved financial planning systems to support insights and growth
- Elevate all monthly financial reporting to be shared with internal and external stakeholders (e.g. executive team, Board of directors, employees)
Requirements
What you offer us...
- Bachelor's degree required (concentrations in Finance, Economics, and/or Accounting preferred); MBA is a plus
- 6+ years of progressively responsible experience in corporate finance, consulting, investment banking, or related fields. Experience with subscription / SaaS business models or high-growth start-ups
- Deep, relevant FP&A experience, with an emphasis on financial analysis, modeling and forecasting, and cross-functional business partnerships
- Strong familiarity and solid understanding of sales KPIs, subscription accounting, and subscription metrics
- Excellent communication skills; can establish credibility, build consensus, and partner cross-functionally without direct authority
- A desire to join a startup, take responsibility for the fate of the company and move fast
What we offer you...
- Salary Disclosure for Colorado: minimum base salary of $120,000 - $140,000. Final offer amount is determined by factors including years and depth of candidate's experience, certifications, and skill set alignment to the job requirements
- Various health, dental and vision insurance plans to choose from
- 2-10 weeks of paid parental leave + additional paid and unpaid leave options
- Up to 18 days annually of PTO & 10 holidays per year
- Dog-friendly office
- 401k match up to 4 percent
- Annual stipend for personal growth through our Grow450 program
- On-site amenities include a professional fitness center, flexible & modern workspace, coffee bar, happy hour taps & team member lounge
