Job Summary

The FP&A Manager will collaborate with the Finance leadership to organize and run the budgeting and reporting functions of the company. This role will be essential to provide accurate financial insights, forecasting, and strategic recommendations to the senior leadership team. The ideal candidate should be a strong analytical thinker with a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial analysis and possess exceptional leadership and communication skills.

Essential Functions

Financial Planning and Budgeting:

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and oversee the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic objectives
  • Prepare long-term financial plans and forecasts, identifying risks and opportunities for the business
  • Lead the development of financial models to support various business scenarios and assess their impact on the company's financial performance

Financial Forecasting and Reporting:

  • Help prepare and review in a timely and accurate way financial analysis, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review
  • Analyze financial results, variances, and trends against budget and prior periods, and present key findings to senior management
  • Create insightful dashboards and KPI reports that facilitate data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization

Strategic Decision Support:

  • Work closely with business leaders to understand their needs and provide financial insights to support their strategic initiatives
  • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis and scenario modeling to evaluate potential investments, cost-saving opportunities, and business expansion initiatives

Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering their professional growth and development
  • Set performance objectives, provide feedback, and conduct performance evaluations to ensure the team's success

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in financial planning and analysis, with progressive levels of responsibility
  • Strong financial modeling, forecasting, and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
  • Excellent proficiency in financial reporting and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems, data visualization tools)
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret financial data and present complex findings in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholders
  • Previous experience in leading and managing a team of financial analysts
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong business acumen and the capability to understand the company's industry, market trends, and competitive landscape
  • Occasional travel may be required, including international
