FP&A Manager

📍Location: Atlanta, GA or Brooklyn, NY (On-Site) 

As FP&A Manager you will play a crucial role in taking on some of the company’s most important financial and business intelligence projects to drive efficient growth and financial excellence. As an analytical and collaborative problem - solver you will tackle complex problems in a structured manner and work with a wide range of stakeholders. 

As the first FP&A Finance hire, you will join the Strategy & Finance team and report directly to the Head of Business Intelligence. You will work collaboratively across all teams at The Rounds including Operations, Merchandising, Marketing and Product to align financial strategies with overall business goals. This is a high impact and high visibility role that will help the leadership of the company make the best informed decisions.

You will:

• Build, improve and then manage the dynamic and scalable financial reporting processes used to measure, track, and communicate results against expectations
• Lead the budgeting and planning process, working closely with business units to develop financial targets that drive the company forward
• Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand business needs, provide financial insights, and identify and execute on priorities for the business
• Ensure accurate and timely financial information, to both internal and external stakeholders, is presented to support strategic decision-making
• Manage the monthly close processes, collaborating with the accounting team to ensure high quality and timely financial statements while driving improvements in efficiency and accuracy
• Establish and maintain best practices in expense management and internal controls to ensure financial integrity
• Utilize data and reporting tools to extract meaningful insights and enhance reporting capabilities

You are:

• A problem solver with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in public accounting, investment banking, or financial analysis with a working knowledge of GAAP and a preference for experience at a high-growth, Consumer startup 
• Strong in analytical and financial modeling skills and experienced in interpreting complex financial data to develop and execute business strategies
• An awesome communicator who can partner effectively with all levels of the organization and build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams
• Comfortable working through ambiguity to solve complex problems with a focus on continuous iteration and improvement 
• Experienced with data and reporting tools like Looker or Tableau. Familiarity with SQL is a plus, or a willingness to learn
• A fast learner, able to quickly dive in and become a subject matter expert
• Hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves style and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Passionate about sustainability and motivated by the opportunity to help solve one of our generation’s most consequential problems
