We are hiring an FP&A Manager to help infuse our team with technical and intellectual horsepower. This position reports to the Director of Finance and is responsible for leveraging technology to automate financial reporting and for developing analytical frameworks to support optimal business decision making. You must be a hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves type of team player and should enjoy a fast-paced start-up environment. **This is an onsite position based out of our San Francisco office.
What You Will Do- Develop and refine reporting on key operating and financial metrics, and conduct root cause analyses to drive recommendations for operational improvement; lead cross-functional, project-based efforts to implement process improvements based on your findings
- Leverage technology to streamline reporting; a key expectation is that FP&A will leverage technology effectively, and will play an important role in the evaluation, implementation and ownership of future financial planning tool(s)
- Partner with business leaders to help them understand the impact of their investments on our financial results, operations and growthSupport the annual budget process and periodic reforecast exercises
- Manage the corporate FP&A calendar and drive the team to ensure on-time completion of reporting and forecasting packages
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to provide ad hoc business-related analyses
- Passion for developing structured solutions to quantitative problems; experience managing projects with minimal oversight and guiding initiatives to a successful conclusion while working with cross-functional teams
- Demonstrated ability to partner with leadership
- BA/BS in an analytical or technical discipline and/or MBA
- Analytical background working in an FP&A, investment banking or consulting environment (4-7 years of experience), with significant experience in excel-based modeling or software-based modeling/data analysis
- Experience working in a financial planning tool (Anaplan, Planful, Adaptive Planning, Onestream, Oracle or other)
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, and outstanding attention to detail
