Your Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated individual to join the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team as a key player in producing consolidated financial reporting and providing analytical support to assess company performance and drive initiatives and continued growth. The FP&A Manager is a highly visible and expansive role supporting the CFO, CAO, VP Investor Relations & Executive Team, Director of FP&A, and Operations Finance and Accounting Leadership. The right individual for this role has a passion for excellence, great attention to detail, executive presence, and a proven ability to develop relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

This position requires regular weekly onsite presence at the office in Daytona Beach, FL. After training, hybrid option may be available up to 2 days/ week.

Your Qualifications

  • Prepare timely and accurate reporting and analysis measuring key business drivers, company metrics and financial performance.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools and models to examine key initiatives, variances and opportunities on behalf of management and other internal customers to support informed, strategic decision-making.
  • Determine key drivers impacting company income statements, balance sheets, and statements of cash flow.
  • In partnership with FP&A teammates and other departments, contribute to merger and acquisition processes including financial modeling of target companies, integration of historical financials, and reporting and analytics post-close for performance evaluation, synergy tracking, etc.
  • Perform market-specific and macro-economic research to identify and analyze major business trends impacting company financial and operational performance.
  • Partner with the Segment and Corporate Accounting teams during the month-end close process to identify and explain actual versus forecast, budget, and prior year variances.
  • Assist with preparing and reviewing financial packages, presentations, press releases, etc. for executive management, the Board of Directors, and external reporting.
  • Act as a key liaison and partner to cross-functional teams, including Finance, Accounting, IT, Supply Chain, Treasury, Risk, and other teams to drive scalable analysis and insights.
  • Contribute to forecast, budget, and long-range planning cycles by coordinating with stakeholders to gather data and produce models for assumptions and inputs.
  • Act as the lead OneStream Administrator maintaining internal data mappings and hierarchies used in reporting.
  • Overtime and weekend work required, as needed

  • A successful candidate is able to recognize and adjust to change, create disciplined processes, and act as an independent decision maker who will utilize team collaboration.
  • Drive automation by providing input and collaborating to improve the company’s financial processes, models, and systems.
  • Challenge existing processes and identify data silos or inconsistencies to drive improvements increasing efficiency and accuracy of forecast and reporting.
  • Participate in ad hoc analysis and special projects as necessary from Senior Leadership.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding company programs, activities, and records.
  • Supervisory or Management Responsibility – Responsible for supervising others (hiring, firing, performance reviews or corrective action). Ensures staff is responsive to both internal and external customers and provides excellent customer service.

EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

Minimum Degree: Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent, is required; Master’s Degree preferred.

Course of study: Finance, Accounting, or Economics

Special Certification or Licensing: CPA or CFA preferred.

EXPERIENCE

Minimum experience: 5-7 years of progressive experience required.

Legal Age Requirements: At least 18 years of age

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Analytical skills with an ability to explain results in an easy to understand manner.
  • Ability to prioritize workload to achieve effective results in a fast-paced and growing environment.
  • Ability to work independently, in partnership with others, and in a collaborative role.
  • Experience working with large-scale data, reporting tools, and other financial systems (preferably Oracle, OneStream and PowerBI).
  • Must have advanced or expert skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrates and applies an understanding of accounting principles.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Type of Travel Required: National and Canada

Amount of Travel Required: 10%

POSITION LOCATION: Onsite in Daytona Beach, FL

Physical Requirements

Work is performed in a typical office environment and may require standing, bending, lifting boxes or packages under 10 lbs., and sitting for long periods of time.

Work requires regularly inputting/retrieving words or data into or from an automated/computer system.
