FP&A Manager

The Finance team at Dance is there to make sure that we have the most accurate, up-to-date financial information available, so we can use that to make the best decisions and grow our business. The team has a wide range of responsibilities, from basic bookkeeping to reporting & control, tax & compliance, budgeting, financial planning and analysis. To help our business to grow and develop further, we are looking for a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager.

As our FP&A Manager, you will:

• Manage our forecasting, reporting and analysis
• Build models from scratch and improve existing models to capture complex business dynamics and help the company make solid strategic decisions
• Together with the software team develop financial dashboards and keep them updated
• Report and analyse variances between actuals and forecasts on a monthly basis, and provide insights and suggest improvements
• Work closely with the leadership team, reporting directly to the Senior Financial Controller.

To be successful in this role, you:

• Have the potential to grow as Dance does
• Have a BSc in Finance, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent and have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in investment banking, corporate finance or corporate FP&A
• Have very strong financial modelling skills in Excel or Google sheets, with knowledge of SQL being a bonus
• Are a self-starter and like to explore and figure things out, but your best work happens as part of a team
• Are fluent in English
• Are intrinsically motivated to work on Dance’s mission to make cities more liveable.
• Live in Germany or are willing to work fully remotely from elsewhere in Europe.
