Position Summary:

The FP&A Manager will serve as a key resource and driver of financial performance of the North America Corn Milling value chain. This position will be a key partner to value chain leadership providing strategic decision support, planning, and forecasting, cost variance analysis, market data analysis and risk management support.

Core Functions:

• Production and analysis of North America Corn Milling's financial analysis files. Reporting of key variances driving the monthly result to value chain leadership.
• Production of information required for Global Food Solutions reporting requirements offering insightful commentary on drivers of the North America Corn Milling results.
• Prepare Supporting documentation, financial models, and develop business cases for capital project proposals.
• Manage monthly forecast files, driving inputs from all areas of the value chain with the end goal of producing a well developed and detailed forecast of the performance of the business.
• Compile and add commentary to Quarterly reporting packages prepared for Corporate FP&A.
• Provide key decision support on an Ad Hoc basis by creating financial models to evaluate strategic options available to the value chain.
• Produce sales and market reporting fore the value chain with insightful commentary on customer performance vs forecasts, plan, and prior years.
• Utilize Nielsen database to provide analysis on the key customers and market segments the NA value chain serves.
• Assist in calculation and reporting of mark to market timing impacts in the Value Chain's financial result.
• Participate in and be a regular contributor of value added input to weekly value chain management team meetings.
• Assist in presenting key financial results drivers in monthly value chain results meetings.
• Many other Ad Hoc financial analysis requests to support the value chain.

Skills/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, accounting, agricultural economics, and / or related discipline.

At least five years of experience in a finance or accounting related role.

Very strong computer skills (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Cost accounting experience is a plus
