The RI&S FP&A team has an exciting opportunity for a candidate to support multiple high profile tasks with exposure to RI&S and Corporate leadership, which can be divided into two categories, (1) development of executive level presentations, (2) identifying, tracking, and reporting RI&S cost and revenue synergies.

Primary responsibilities include, but not limited to: reviewing Strategic Business Unit monthly/AOP/LRP consolidations and trend assessments, supporting RI&S program and other organizations with financial analysis, and developing the RI&S financial messaging to various end users. Additional responsibilities include: supporting business integration leadership project ideation, synergy validation, and business case support, assist in the preparation of monthly cost synergy briefings for the leadership team, and partner with SBU FP&A and Business Integration leads in various synergy validation analyses.

This role heavily supports the development of the RI&S Investor Day, Board of Directors, Corporate Long Range Plan/AOP, and monthly and quarterly RI&S presentations to key team members. The effective candidate will strengthen relationships with Strategy to align financial and business data during the LRP process, and assist crafting the financial narrative.

This opportunity allows a candidate visibility into how each SBU plays into the overall RI&S program; and it offers exposure to key business attributes, market comparison, consensus and guidance outlook, and business trends. Also, understanding the topics of highest interest of the RI&S leadership team is key as this role owns providing the Product Lines with a monthly Ops and Finance Review templates.

Required Skills:
  • Minimum of 8 years Finance work experience, 5 years of program controls
  • Advanced skills in Excel, APEX, SAP, Rplan, AO
  • Excellent work ethic and commitment to accuracy
  • Excellent communication skills, presentation skills, attention to detail and accuracy in reporting
  • Analytics: Ability to evaluate data, develop financial models/plans/analyses/reports, and present solutions to problems/issues for which there is no established approach
  • Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and meet deadlines

Required Education:
  • Typically requires: A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience

Desired Education:
  • Masters of Business Administration, Finance or Accounting related field

The salary range for this role is $89,000.00 to $189,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.

Requires practical knowledge in guiding and managing the implementation of processes, projects and tactics within one work area. Typically has broad knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline with understanding of the impact of work on other areas of the organization.
