About the role:
We are seeking an experienced FP&A Senior Manager to join our team and play a pivotal role in building and leading a world-class financial planning and analysis function. This senior-level position will report to the Director of FP&A and drive strategic financial initiatives to support our high-growth environment.
This role will be hybrid out of our Willis Tower office and require occasional travel to our facilities located in Elmhurst and Burr Ridge.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business leadership to develop annual budgets, long-term financial plans, and periodic forecasts, offering valuable insights and recommendations for decision-making in a high-growth environment.
- Support the development of strategic plans and initiatives, offering financial analysis and modeling to evaluate potential outcomes and scenarios within our fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Monitor financial performance and key performance indicators, identifying trends, opportunities, and areas of risk. Proactively communicate insights to senior leadership and the business through Management, Discussion and Analysis (MD&A).
- Provide timely, accurate, and insightful financial analysis that supports management decision-making, encompassing business cases, ROI analysis, and ad hoc analyses as required.
- Create and maintain a cross functional demand and growth team, inclusive of growth projections based on drivers of demand data and analysis.
- Lead the development and maintenance of complex financial models, ensuring they accurately reflect business drivers and assumptions.
- Serve as FP&A lead for the design, implementation, and adoption of our new ERP system. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration, data accuracy, and effective utilization of the ERP system to enhance financial reporting and decision-making capabilities.
- Build and maintain dashboards and analytics using BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to provide key insights and foster data-driven decision-making across the organization.
- Lead and support ad hoc projects as required.
Experience & Skills we value:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required. An MBA, CFA, or CPA is preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in FP&A or a related field, demonstrating a track record of delivering high-quality financial analysis and insights in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to understand and work with complex financial models and data sets.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate insights and recommendations to non-financial stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial modeling software are required. Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is preferred.
- Proven experience in building and maintaining dashboards and analytics using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker in a fast-paced environment.
- Preferred experience working with data engineers on system (ERP) implementations and dataset development/architecture in Snowflake or other similar infrastructures
- Collaborative team player with strong attention to detail, able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- A self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team with a passion for building and improving processes.
- A proactive mindset and a desire to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing company.
