Position Specific Description

The Position Focuses On:

• Improving the accuracy of financial reporting, forecasting and related processes with a focus on project and financial data
• Continuous process improvements, including enhancements to accounting, forecasting, and reporting processes

Responsibilities:

• Conduct analytics on business unit financials
• Experience working with large amounts of data and organizing data for streamlined analysis
• Resolves open issues independently and/or with aid of team members
• Ability to effectively communicate to all levels within the organization
• A track record of success in self-directed environment
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Support ad hoc reporting requirements and/or special projects, developing and improving upon data visualizations and reports
• Experience with the following a plus:
  • Power BI
  • Programming languages: VBA, Python, R
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • PowerPoint, Word and Outlook

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics
• Possess an inquisitive mind and "can-do" attitude
• Comfortable working independently or in a collaborative environment
• Must be able to deliver results under tight deadlines
• Good problem-solving abilities
• Must be adaptable to a changing environment
• Business Intelligence: Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Data Analytics, Forecasting, etc.

Job Overview

To be considered for an internship, you must be actively enrolled at a college or university as a full-time student seeking a bachelor's degree or higher. You must also have a current cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher (on a 0.00 to 4.00 scale).

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Assists department with assigned projects
• Completes challenging projects and assignments
• Presents final project to senior leadership at the end of the internship
• Assumes responsibility for own travel, lodging, and transportation necessary to be available for the program
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school grad / GED
• Maintain active enrollment in a Bachelor or higher degree program
• Maintain cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
