About the Role

We are looking for a highly analytical and experienced Fractional Data Analyst and Business Intelligence Manager to support our team on a part-time contractor basis. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, creating actionable insights, and managing our business intelligence tools.

Role and Responsibilities

• Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions.
• SQL Development: Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
• Business Intelligence: Design, implement, and maintain dashboards and reports using Metabase to present data in a user-friendly manner.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product development, marketing, and operations, to understand data needs and provide support.
• Data Governance: Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and security in all reporting processes.
• Training: Provide guidance and training to team members on data interpretation and utilization of business intelligence tools.

Preferred Experience

• Proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Manager, preferably in the healthcare or tech industry.
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data querying and manipulation.
• Experience with Metabase, Big Query or similar business intelligence tools.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with data visualization techniques and best practices.
• Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA) is a plus.
